Facilities
Computer Laboratory
The Computer Lab is equipped with an adequate number of computers
with internet facility to train the students in basic computer
applications. The students are trained by expert computer
professionals.
Library
The Khola College Library has a wide range of textbooks and
journals both Indian and foreign. At present, there are around 3,700 textbooks in our library. The library
timing extends from 9 am to till 12 midnight. There is also a
central library located in the Khola College with more than 9,000
books, 250 journals including foreign medical journals. The library
offers internet facilities and an excellent intranet "M.D.
University Management System programme for information on the latest
advancements and accomplishments of the various disciplines in the
Education. The library has access to the digital library of State
University of New York at Buffalo through which 317 online journals can be accessed. Also 'MD Consult' is available allowing
text books(latest edition), journals, education news, etc. to be
accessed.
Audio Visual Aids Laboratory
The Audio Visual Laboratory is equipped with high-tech educational
media to support the teaching-learning activities of the students. The collection in this regard includes television,
overhead projectors, slide projectors, audio/video players, CD
players, tape recorders, public address system, digital cameras,
etc. In addition, this laboratory has excellent collections, models,
charts, respiratory devices, positioning devices and other exhibits
related to education.
Language Lab
The practice of professional teacher within the country and abroad
necessitates a good command over the English language for effective
communication. Hence, we are in the process of setting up a Language
Lab in the college.
